IT Specialist - Santa Maria


Position Summary

Assist agency staff in the efficient use of all computer-related products. Troubleshoot any and all system, network and communication problems at the Santa Maria branch. Assist other branch IT staff in the support of the company’s technology operations in the Salinas and Bakersfield branch offices.


Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficient in desktop and server software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Good oral and written English communication and figure aptitude skills.
• Organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to work on several tasks at once with frequent
   interruptions while meeting sensitive time frames.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, including multiple reporting layers
   throughout the organization.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other branches


Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with AFW and other insurance industry software a plus.
